Site Supervisor

1. You will be responsible for day-to-day activities at site and reporting to office in the specific reporting format on a daily basis (WhatsApp is not approved in reporting).
2. Your role is to ensure work is carried out at site safely, efficiently, within quality standards and as per approved drawings & specifications.
3. Your job role also includes managing site labour, coordinating with sub-contractors and ensure proper manpower is present at site as per deployment plan.
4. You will also be responsible for maintaining the work progress schedules as per planned timeline and ensure handover takes place on time.
5. You will also adhere to standard safety and compliance norms and ensure that the workers also adhere to the safety norms.
6. You will be responsible to monitor and control materials and equipment movement at site and ensure ‘No Material Shortage’ and ‘No Equipment Breakdown’ during the work.
7. You will be responsible for checking the quality of work at every stage and ensure that the work done under your supervision meets the company standards and client’s requirements.
8. While on inspection, check minute details and record the snags; take photos and videos; discuss with your senior and take measures to rectify the snag.
9. Ensure clear possession of work space is provided to workers for smooth workflow.
10. Maintain proper documentation of work progress, materials receipt, materials (stock) in hand, number of laborer on duty (attendance), quality check & snag reports and work completion status and report these along with your remarks to your Team Leads / Site Engineer.
11. Report & Record incidents / accidents at site (if any).
12. You will be responsible for making the workers use their PPE kit for safety as per company norms and report any violations to office.
13. You will be working as a vital link between the site and head office.
14. Your responsibility will include verification of the materials received at site — is as per Packing List and approved specifications; deviations, if any, if noticed by you, should be immediately coordinated to head office-Stores & Dispatch.
15. You will be responsible to prevent wastage of materials and ensure proper and safe storage.
16. In case of unforeseen shortage of materials at site, you must predict the same well in advance and inform office about the same before the material shortage actually happens.
17. You will be responsible to bring back the remaining unutilized stock, utilities, stationaries, machineries, PPE Kits and other company belongings to our office, as per desired quantity and in a good re-usable state.

Overall, you will be fully responsible for the entire day to day site operations, site and head office coordination and successful completion of all the projects of the company designated to you and will be answerable to the management.
